79Gladys Kimiyo Hirai, 97, of Honolulu, a retired McInerny Tract laundry seamstress, died in Oahu Care Facility. She was born in Waimea, Kauai. She is survived by son Donald G.; daughter Eleanor Kaya; brothers Akira, Fred and George Kubota; sisters Lillian Chang, Susan Nogawa, Beatrice Olayer and Irene Okino; caregiver and daughter-in-law Katherine; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
