CLARA AHN Daughter of the late Won Kiu and Chung Song Ahn, passed away in Honolulu on May 15, 2015 after a long illness. Born in Honolulu Oct 3, 1922, she grew up on Oahu, eventually going away to college in Greeley, Colorado. She returned to obtain her graduate degree in Economics at the U of H, later teaching in elementary and intermediate schools for six years prior to moving to New York City where she established her own public relations firm. In the sixties she joined William Law Construction Corporation in Manhattan, becoming president of the company in 1970. She retired to Hawaii in the nineties and is survived by daughters Marcia Yoshida and Jana Olney, grandsons Kevin and Curtis Yoshida and sister Elizabeth Ahn Toupin of Lexington, Ma. She was a gracious, gentle lady known for her generous and kind heart and will be missed. Private services were held at Diamond Head Memorial Park.
