George J. Gibbons, 72, of Pearl City, a Navy veteran and retired Honolulu Police Department corporal, died in Pearl City. He was born in New York City. He is survived by daughter Cristine K.L. and two grandchildren. Committal services: 10 a.m. Monday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery in Kaneohe.
