ROSEMARIE LOIS YOUNG Rosemarie Lois Young, 86, of Waimanalo, HI, passed away on July 15, 2015 and reunited with her daughter Yvette M. Dante in heaven. She was born on July 31, 1928 on Hawaii island in Laupahoehoe. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Wilfred "Bill" C.A. Young; daughter Sandra A. (Roy) Matsumoto and four grandsons R. Keoni Vaughn (Jacquelyn), Cody, Colt and Cole Dante. Rosemarie had a lifelong passion for music and served as song leader for Sacred Hearts Academy, a school that she would remain active in for much of her life. A devout Catholic, she was a member of St. George's church for more than 60 years and attended the outdoor chapel that stood in its place before then. She worked for the Hawaii State Legislature. Her greatest love was her family. Her two daughters that she raised in Waimanalo gave her four grandsons. She had become a great grandmother just prior to her death. She will be fondly remembered for her compassion, kindness, sincerity and generosity. Funeral Service and Celebration of Life will be held at St. George's Catholic Church in Waimanalo on August 14 at 6 pm with visitation at 5pm.
