80Samuel Elia Meyer, also known as "Sam" and "Uncle Bubba," 73, of Princeville, Kauai, formerly of Hanalei and Wanini, Kauai, and Kailua, a salesman for Volkswagon Kauai and Kuhio Motors, and a retired Princeville Makai Golf Course starter, died in Wilcox Memorial hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Cora Sue; son Steve Burrell; daughters Sherilyn K. Hoomanawanui, Kamaile Labor and Kelley Doi; sister Sarona De Costa; and six grandchildren. Private services on Kauai. Additional visitation: 3 p.m. Saturday at Thurston Memorial Chapel, Punahou School. Services: 4 p.m. Scattering of ashes at a later date in Wanini.
