Melvin Takaichi Higuchi, 60, of Honolulu, a state Judiciary probation officer, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Lynn H. and brother Garrick. Visitation: 5 p.m Tuesday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Celebration of life: 6 p.m. Aloha attire.
