Samson Juan Achuela, 64, of Waianae, a retired Hawaii Air National Guard master sergeant and computer maintenance technician with the 169th Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron, died in Honolulu. He was born in Waipahu. He is survived by sons Moses Kaoiwi and Aaron Achuela, mother Anna, brother Daniel, sisters Sarah Achuela and Nina Remington, and six grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Committal services: 1 p.m. Monday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Aloha or casual attire. Flowers welcome.
