James Kiyoshi Kawamata, 78, of Wahiawa, co-owner of Kawamata Brothers Ltd., died in Wahiawa. He was born in Haleiwa. He is survived by wife Carolyn M.; sons Blaine M. and Mark M.; brothers Gilbert K. and Dennis G.; sisters Gladys Y. Miyazaki, Esther A. Asato and Judy M. Nakama; and a grandchild. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Mililani Mortuary- Waipio, mauka chapel. Service: 10:30 a.m. Aloha attire. No flowers.
