Manuel Compisao Canoy, also known as "Sgt. Canoy" and "Coach Manny," 75, of Las Vegas, an Army veteran and coach of the Nothing but Excuses Lady Tennis League, died in Nevada. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by daughters Corie Yoshimura and Crissy Benoza, brothers Jesse and Pedro Canoy, sisters Trinidad Batalon and Fedelina Petilos, seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Friday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Services: 10:30 a.m. Burial: 11:30 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park.
