73Harold E. "Bert" Bertelmann, 87, of Naalehu, Hawaii, a Kau paniolo and a retired federal civil service employee, retiree of Hawaiian Airlines and an Air Force and Army Air Corps veteran, died at home. He was born in Waiohinu, Hawaii. He is survived by sons Chris, Kevin M., Barron and Edwin; daughters Karen Corpuz and Roxanne Bertelmann; brother Roy; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services noon Sept. 4 at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. Celebration of life to follow at Barron Bertelmann's residence in Waimea, Hawaii.
