Walter Wataru Tomita, 89, of Honolulu, a retired land agent with the state Department of Hawaiian Home Lands and an Army veteran, died in The Villas in Honolulu. He was born in Keahua, Maui. He is survived by sister Mieko Muroshige. Private services.
