LYDIA SUSAN MCCOY
LYDIA SUSAN MCCOY OF WAIMEA HAWAII PASSED AWAY ON JUNE 2ND, 2015. SHE WAS BORN IN SANTA MONICA CALIFORNIA, AND MOVED TO HAWAII IN 1969. LYDIA MANAGED THE DOWN- TOWN COPY SERVICE, JAG JEANS, AND WORKED AT REYN'S MENS WEAR, AND THE HONOLULU ACADEMY OF ARTS. SHE WAS A MEMBER OF ST. JAMES EPISCOPAL CHURCH IN WAIMEA, AND WAS AN ACTIVE VOLUNTEER AT THE ST. JAMES THRIFT SHOP. LYDIA IS SURVIVED BY HER HUSBAND DAVID H. MCCOY OF WAIMEA, HER SON DAVID H. MCCOY JR. ALSO OF WAIMEA, AND HER DAUGHTER MACKENZIE M. MCCOY OF SAN FRANCISCO. SHE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY HER SISTER OLGA AWANA OF SEQUIM WASHINGTON, AND HER MOTHER MARGARET C. MYERS OF WEST HILLS CALIFORNIA. LYDIA WAS AN OUTGOING PERSON WHO LOVED PEOPLE AND COULD RECITE THE NAMES AND AGES OF CHILDREN OF WAITERS, FRIENDS, AND JUST ABOUT EVERYONE SHE MET. SHE WAS ALSO DEVOTED TO HER FAMILY BOTH IMMEDIATE AND EXTENDED. SHE REGULARLY CORRESPONDED WITH COUSINS, AUNTS , AND A WIDE VARIETY OF FRIENDS. LYDIA WAS ALSO A VERY STRONG SUPPORTER OF THE SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS. SHE KNEW EACH PLAYERS NAME AND ALL THEIR PERFORMANCE STATISTICS. SHE WATCHED OVER ONE HUNDRED GAMES A YEAR, AND BASKED IN THEIR SUCCESS. ALL THOSE WHO KNEW HER WILL MISS HER FRIENDLYNESS, HER UPBEAT PERSONALITY, AND HER LOVE OF LIFE.
