WALTER FREDERICK ROM 07/02/50 07/05/15. Walter died peacefully at his home of a heart attack. He had not been ill. Walter moved to Hawaii in 1972 and was the former Administrator at the Fronk Clinic from 1981 through 1999. The son of Sig and Marjorie Baruch Rom and brother of Stephanie, he grew up in Long Island, New York. All preceded him in death. Walter is survived by his wife Jane Ginsburg soulmate and friend of 43 years and his beloved cat Sam. Please join us for a celebration of Life that will take place at Lanikai Beach near the boat launch (park in the paved parking lot). Services will start at 7:30 AM, Sunday, August 23 with refreshments to follow.
