Etsuo Tonokawa, 90, of Honolulu, an engineer and Army veteran, died. He was born in Hakalau, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Lily; sons Douglas and Chester; daughter Ann; brothers Masayoshi, Tadamasa and Futoshi; sisters Setsuko Tanaka and Emiko Fujita; and two grandchildren. Private services.
