Moses Kalawa Napiha'a Sr., 88, of Kahaluu, a retired Board of Water Supply pipe fitter supervisor who served in the U.S. Merchant Marine in World War II, died in Castle Medical Center. He was born in Hana, Maui. He is survived by sons Moses K. Jr., Wayne and Clesson; daughters Gay Crawford, Joy Kealoha and Cynthia Brown; stepsons Joseph K. Sr. and Charles K. Charles Sr.; stepdaughters Roxanna Kaupe, Bertha Barques, Parona Gomes and Janice K. Kiaaina; brother Peter; sister Julia Napiha'a-Carter; hanai children Gerald Litak, Anthony Charles and Nathan, Christina and Joshua Kamaka; 67 grandchildren; 160 great-grandchildren; and 100 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Services at noon. Burial: 3 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery. Aloha attire.
