71Geraldine "Gerri" Ziats, 89, of Kailua-Kona, a homemaker, died in Hospice of Kona's Nakamaru Hale. She was born in Indianapolis. She is survived by son John Michael; daughters Linda Hodgin, Shirley Ziats, Carolyn Hartfield and Michelle Evans; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m Thursday at the Salvation Army Kona Corps Church, Kailua-Kona. Services: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawi County Cemetery. Casual attire.
