Alan Edward Wickens, 81, of Kapolei, a retired Marine Corps captain, a former Waialua Public Library head librarian and a former Chaney Brooks property manager at Kukui Plaza, died in Ka Punawai Ola Life Care Center. He was born in San Francisco. He is survived by companion Gilbert Chang II, daughter Donna, hanai brother Brent Chang and hanai sister Patricia Bliss. Committal service: 10:30 a.m. Friday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire. No flowers. Condolences: oahumortuary.com.
