HOWARD OSAMU TANAKA August 10, 2015 Howard Osamu Tanaka, 82, of Kailua, a Coast Guard veteran and retired Job Corps welding instructor, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife, Katherine "Kay", son, Mark T., daughter, Lynn H. Vasconcellos, brother, James T., sister, Midori Miyata, four grandchildren. Visitation 5 p.m. Thursday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services 6 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
