James Richard "Jim" Courtney, 75, of Pearl City, a retired Honolulu Police Department officer and a Marine Corps veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Minnesota. He is survived by wife Jill; daughters Barbi J. Courtney-Lau, Cathy L., Susan N. and Jean Courtney, and Tammy L. Courtney-Arciaga; brother Robert; sisters Pat Cram and Mary Courtney; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Mass: 10 a.m. Casual attire.
