73Hedy Zyna Tamamoto Alvarado, 50, of Hilo died in Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by parents Shinsuke and Rose Tamamoto; brothers William and Raymond Mathewson and Jason Tamamoto; and sisters Yvonne Mathewson and Verna Iliwaalani. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary. Celebration of life: 10:30 a.m. Scattering of ashes to follow. Casual attire.
