Takeo Maruyama, 82, of Pearl City, a retired lieutenant colonel in the Air Force who served in the Korean and Vietnam wars and a retired certified financial planner and investment officer, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by son Michael H.; daughters Lynn M. Kirms, Rae N.M. Uyehara and Lisa T. Maruyama; sisters Stella Gunda and Aki Nakagawa; and seven grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Sunday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 5 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
