77LaVerne Healani Kealoha Ah Ching, 83, of Honokaa, Hawaii, a homemaker, died at home. She was born on Kukaiau Ranch, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Melvin Jr. and Randal, daughter Sandra, hanai sister Verna Mae Branco and a grandchild. Visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Honokaa. Services: 11 a.m. Private cremation at a later date. Aloha attire. Flowers optional.
