71Bessie Michiko Tanji, 86, of Wahiawa, a retired Department of Education teacher, died in Wahiawa. She was born in Wahiawa. She is survived by husband Dr. Teruo, son Brad, daughters Joni Kurisu and Becki Lu, sister Florence Matsumoto, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
