Falaniko "Niko" Himphill, 66, of Kurtistown, Hawaii, a retired substitute teacher and an Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War, died at home. He was born in Pago Pago, American Samoa. He is survived by sons Tony, Falaniko "Nick," Eric and Jesse; daughter Nicole "Nikki"; brothers Michael, John, James "Jimmy" and Howard Jr.; sister Asopesio Ross; and six grandchildren. Private services.
