HERBER & JEANETTE INOUYEHERBERT TOBY YUKIO KANANIMAEOLE INOUYE May 17, 1928-August 10, 2015 JEANETTE KITAMURA INOUYE August 27, 1927-August 10, 2015 Toby and Jeanette Inouye were eternally joined on August 10, 2015. They were long-time residents of Pauoa Valley. Toby was a graduate of Farrington High School. Following graduation, he worked at Ronwill Distributors, Ault Supply, and Colgate Palmolive before starting a long and successful career with Bristol-Myers as their District Manager for Clairol. In his youth, Toby was a sportsman and participated in boxing and barefoot football. He was also an avid golfer and enjoyed weekends with his family camping and fishing. He was an active member in several golf and fishing clubs. Jeanette was a graduate of Roosevelt High School and attended business college where she received her secretarial degree. She worked and retired as a Secretary at Occidental Underwriters. Jeanette enjoyed bowling, Hawaiian quilting, crocheting and was an avid reader. They are survived by daughters, April (Myles) Akamine and Gale (Larry) Park; grandchildren Lisa (Aaron) Imai, Christopher (Joy) Akamine, Sean (Tammy) Akamine, Larry Kanani (Kela Kitashima) Park, Malia (James) Kau, and 7 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life for two lives well-lived and well-loved will be held on September 22, 2015, at 5:30 p.m., at Nuuanu Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 4:30 p.m. Casual attire.
