74Minoru Isobe, 97, of Honolulu, a retired sugar cane agronomist, died in Maunalani Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. He is survived by wife Esther H.; daughters Amy I. Yamashita, Ellyn I. Nuibe and Ina M. Isobe; and four grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday at Waiokeola Congregational Church. Services: 11 a.m. Aloha attire.
