Thomas Shinichi Matsumoto, 101, of Kailua-Kona, an aircraft quality control lead inspector for Frontier Airlines and an Air Force veteran, died at home. He was born in Kainaliu, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Kay, son William, daughter Judy, brother Richard and sister Sueko Nishina. Visitation: 3 p.m. Sunday at Kona Hongwanji Buddhist Temple in Kealakekua, Hawaii. Services: 4 p.m. Casual attire.
