Aug. 18, 2015 Leslie Walker "Les" Stewart Jr., 70, of Wahiawa, a retired chief of Army Casualty and Mortuary Affairs and Army Mortuary, retired U.S. government embalmer and retired Army sergeant first class and retired Hawaii Army National Guard command sergeant major, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Haroldine "Dee;" daughters Celeste Pagan and Carice Carrizosa; stepsons Derwin, Dustin and Dwight Gilman; stepdaughter Darnell Maluyo; hanai son Daniel Gilman; hanai daughter Deidreana Maluyo-Gilman; 18 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Oahu Cemetery Chapel. Services: 11 a.m. Committal services: 2 p.m. at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Aloha attire. No flowers.
