72Robert "Tek" Nickerson, 70, of Wailua, Kauai, formerly of Old Greenwich and Cos Cob, Conn., died at home. He was born in Greenwich. He is survived by son Charles RedShirt, former wife Arlene Benedict, mother Mary Jane, brother Eric, sister Jan and a grandchild. Celebration of life: 5 p.m. Monday near the mouth of the Wailua River.
