Bob Kirk Peterson, 84, of Honolulu, a retired Marine Corps lieutenant colonel, died in Sarasota, Fla. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa. He is survived by wife Ann, son Kirk, daughter Malia Parfitt, stepson Edwin Phillips, stepdaughter Debra Broomall, sister Sally Goeser, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Interment: 2 p.m. Nov. 13 at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire. Flowers welcome. Donations suggested to 'Iolani Palace.
