FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Danielle Luukia Halas
DANIELLE LUUKIA HALAS Danielle Luukia Halas (75) stepped through the veil on Saturday afternoon, October 10, 2015 after suffering serious heart problems since April and the removal of cancer in June. She attended Sacred Hearts Academy, Castle High School, Texas Women's University, Windward Community College (first graduating class) and the University of Hawaii (BS in Human Development and a Masters in Social Work). She was a true intellectual-interested in knowing about everything. She was also a devoted and loving human being devoting much of her life to caring for parents (Miroslaw and Lydia Halas), her sisters' children (Warren, Lydia and Glenn Dennison and Dale Halas), and friends and animals in need. Because she was so private, few people knew that she had a beautiful singing voice. Danielle is survived by her best friends Maryanne Inouye, Marsha Sakamaki, Sara Kunioka, "Pepper" Halas, and Jason Lam; her sisters Velma Leilani Roberts and Barbara Kema and her brother Samuel Halas and their families, and the families of her deceased brothers Charles Akana and George Halas. As requested by Danielle, there will be no public services. Instead, she asks that you spend your precious time with those you love.

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
