Mieko "Mae" Shimizu, 91, of Hilo, a retired kitchen helper for Sky Chef and Restaurant Fuji, died in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by son Calvin; daughters Audrey and Bessie Shimizu, and Eloise Kuniyoshi; and two grandchildren. Private services.
