Helen Shigeno Kawano, 93, of Cypress, Calif., died in Long Beach, Calif. She was born in Kohala, Hawaii. She is survived by son Harvey, daughter Pat Fujimoto, brothers Richard and Jerry Suzawa, sisters Cora Matsushima and Nancy Kawahara, two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Private services.
