Sonny P. Abangan, 86, of Wahiawa, an Army Special Forces veteran and a retired Buddhist minister, died at his daughter's home on Kauai. He was born in Wahiawa. He is survived by wife Miyo; sons Alan and Arnold; daughter Audrey Ventura; brothers Don and Rudy; sisters Gertrude Dellatan, Anita Acohido and Winona Chang; and seven grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Monday at Mililani Mortuary-Wai- pio, mauka chapel. Celebration of life: 5:30 p.m.
