CHRISTINA LEILANI HIRONAKA Age 48, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2015 in her Kapolei home. Christina was born at Castle Memorial Hospital on August 23, 1967 to Mr. and Mrs. Max L. Pearce of Kailua, Hawaii and graduated from Kailua High School with the Class of 1985. Christina had the great joy of spending twenty-two years of togetherness and twelve years of marriage with the love of her life, husband Dwayne Hironaka. A lover of people, Christina worked as a hostess for Denny's in Kapolei where her beautiful smile greeted many customers for the past few years. Christina loved vacationing in Las Vegas and had an immeasurable love for life and her family. She will forever be remembered for her generosity and kind heart, but mostly for the love and compassion she had for animals, especially her boys, Reno, Hercules, Chewy, Apollo, Kain, Sergeant, and Maximus. Christina is survived by her husband, Dwayne and her step-children, Corie Li, Layne, and Nicole; mother, Nancy Pearce of Kailua, Hawaii; siblings, Debbie Silva, Lisa Wolf of Roseville, California, Max Pearce, Jeffery "Scott" Pearce, Brian Pearce, and Clyde Pearce; several in-laws; sixteen nieces and nephews; thirteen great-nieces and nephews; and three grandchildren. Christina is preceded by her father, Max L. Pearce. Christina's celebration of life service will be held on November 14, 2015 from 3pm-7pm at Oahu Mortuary, 2162 Nuuanu Ave, Honolulu, HI 96817. Aloha/casual attire is requested.
