James Alexander Dowsett, 90, of Kamuela, Hawaii, a rancher and an Army veteran, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Mary Ann; sons Alika and Kawika; daughters Keahi Kummer, Mealani Morgan and Poomai Dowsett; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Celebration of life: noon Dec. 19 at the Dowsett Ranch.
