JEAN TERANISHI YOUNG Jean Teranishi Young, 88, formerly of Wahiawa, passed on November 7, 2015 in Apple Valley, Minnesota. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sau Kong, and survived by her sons Mike (Tammy) and Jack and grand- children Rachel and Jacob. Born in Wahiawa, Jean left for college in Illinois where she eventually settled and spent over 20 years as an elementary education teacher. After retiring, she moved to Minnesota to be near two of the greatest loves of her life, her grandchildren, with whom she remained close until her passing. Jean will be returning to Hawaii to join her husband at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific on December 29, 2015 at 10:30 am.
