Haruko Obara, 94, of Honolulu, a Kaiser Permanente Foundation first director of nursing, died in Maunalani Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Kona. She is survived by nephew Dennis. Services: 11:30 am. Friday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.
