James Oliver Bazell, 84, of Kaneohe, an Army retiree, died in Tripler Army Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by daughters Laura and Jamie Bazell, and Arlene Vieau; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Celebration of life and scattering of ashes pending. Donations suggested to Lockwood Animal Rescue Center, Gary Sinise Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project or other charity.
