73James Rodger Brandon, 88, of Honolulu, a professor of drama and theater for the University of Hawaii at Manoa College of Arts and Humanities, a director, author, translator and playwright, will be remembered in a celebration of life 1 p.m. Nov. 29 at University of Hawaii Kennedy Theatre. He died in Hale Ola Kino. He was born in St. Paul, Minn. He is survived by wife Reiko M. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to UH Foundation, Asian Theatre.
