Kenzo Sato, 85, of Honolulu, a retired material testing inspector for the state Department of Transportation and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died in St. Francis Hospice. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Gertrude E., sons Joey T. and Michael T., daughter Karen M., sisters Toshie Suzuki and Amy Aoki, and three grandchildren. Private services.
