Steven Vair Avilla, 60, of Las Vegas, a retired Air Force chief master sergeant, died in Las Vegas. He was born in San Francisco. He is survived by wife Natalie; sons Gabriel and Travis; parents Steve and Rosita; brother Alan; sisters Roseanne Stewart, Amanda Cox and Julia LoPresti; and three grandchildren.
