Christopher John Frederick Butcher, 72, of Kailua, a retired merchant seaman and a retired Coast Guard chief warrant officer, died in Kaneohe. He was born in Long Eaton County, County of Derby, United Kingdom. He is survived by wife Gretchen; son David; daughters Susan Carter, Shelli Guillory and Kristin Leonard; sister Elizabeth Kent; and seven grandchildren.
