Frank Gregory Lopez, 84, of Hilo, a retired state highways department maintenance worker and an Army veteran, died in Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. He was born in Makaweli, Kauai. He is survived by wife Gladys; sons Frank III, Thomas and Eric Lopez, and Stacey Kobayashi; daughter Denise Louis; brother Gerald; sisters Barbara Silva, Isabel Coyaso and Virginia Lopez; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Wednesday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 10 a.m. Burial: noon at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
