Joseph Alpiche, 83, of Pearl City, a retired Schofield Barracks Commissary produce supervisor and an Army veteran, died in Aiea. He was born in North Kohala, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Lillian Yangson-Alpiche; sons Lambert, Brian and Jonathan; daughter Roxanne; brothers Peter Alpiche and Joseph, Lawrence, Richard and Peter R. Villasista; sisters Carmen Alpiche, Rose Martinez, Marian Bott-Scharf, Vernice Gomes and Shirley Villafuerta; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Pearl City. Services: 11:15 a.m. Mass to follow. Committal services: 2 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
