75James Makaiwa Woolsey, 86, of Kihei, Maui, died in Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Dathaniel T.; daughters Maria'Dalena T. Akau and Jamie K. Carter; stepsons Lavalle H. and Lindsey K. Schmitt; stepdaughters LoriAnn L. Cain, Linda Oguma, Beverly Carvalho, Bernadine Chun, Dolly Ann Sione and Enette Werner-Macalma; brothers William and Edwin Sr.; sister Miriam "Tita" Gramberg; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Jan. 9 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kihei Ward. Services: 10 a.m. Luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to LDS Kihei Ward.
