Midela Llanos "Meding" Sumile, 86, of Kihei, Maui, died in Kahului. She was born in Kahuku. She is survived by son John C. Jr.; daughters Jody Ortogero, Elizabeth "Liz" Ormita, Marisa Cadiente and Jerilyn Ballesteros; brothers Jerry, Eddie and Albert Llanos; 17 grandchildren; and eight great0grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Jan. 13 at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6 p.m. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
