Silvino Vasquez "Ving" Tangunan, 84, of Mililani, a Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard retiree and a Navy veteran who served in the Vietnam War, died in Mililani. He was born in Hagonoy, Bulacan, Philippines. He is survived by wife Julita H., sons Edwin H. and Lloyd H., daughter Sylvia H., brother Rolando and three grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Jan. 12 at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Committal services: 10 a.m. Jan. 13 at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Aloha or casual attire.
