72Tetsuo Harano, 95, of Honolulu, a retired state Department of Transportation chief of highways, died at home. The H-3 freeway tunnels are named after him. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Michael K., daughter Jeanne T. Harano-Hernandez, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Private services.
