Benjamin Tsukasa Takeshita, 86, of Kailua, a retired Army Medical Corps staff sergeant and a retired vocational rehab counselor for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Fumie, sons Robert S. and Allan R., daughter Laura J., brother Thomas T., sisters Frances H. Shigemoto and Grace S. Nomura, five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Private services.
